COACHING
Players get an insight into playing basketball at a senior level. Coaches share their experiences of the professional and US College game, giving players an understanding of what it takes to make the step up. Players are challenged with detailed technical drills and position-specific training to elevate their on-court performance. With an additional focus on improving the physical attributes and mental toughness to succeed at the top, players get a true all-round pro basketball experience.
Eric Boateng provides an inspirational insight into a basketball journey many students may like to replicate. From studying and playing at an NCAA Division 1 school in the USA, to his experience playing with NBA teams and in a home Olympic Games in 2012.
RESULTS: Players better understand their game and consider how to continue their career beyond junior level, either at university or senior level. As well as their progress on-court, players leave with new friends from around the world and develop maturity, confidence, and an understanding of new cultures.
WORKSHOPS + RECOVERY
Players follow a series of interactive workshops and recovery activities throughout the camp. Workshops introduce a range of topics designed to give a broader view and better understanding of athletic performance and what it takes to succeed in sports. Recovery exercises, such as yoga, help players manage the workload of two training sessions each day.
